March is Innovation and Creativity month in the OSSEMOOC community.
Last Tuesday evening, we took time to explore the ICE protocol being introduced to SHSM students in Ontario (in partnership with the Rotman School of Management).
ICE is Innovation – Creativity – Entrpreneurship.
How well do we introduce these concepts to students in Ontario?
What are the differences between Innovation and Creativity?
What are the important aspects to share with students?
These are some of the areas we explored.
On Tuesday, March 10, we will have a number of education leaders sharing their observations around innovative practices in classrooms. This is not earth-shaking innovation, but simple, doable, innovative thinking around improving the conditions for learning for students in Ontario.
Be sure to drop in and share your stories and to hear how Ontario is moving forward with innovative thinking.
